  • Make a mess of a small, observable area. Then ask the child what is wrong with the scene.
  • Discuss with them what should be done. Then mend the mess.
  • (Explain to them that the Holy Spirit is everywhere. And we should keep our environment just as our bodies clean, for He lives in us too.)

Bible Story

  • Jesus’ disciples were worried because Jesus was going to leave them and go to the Father, He told Peter, “ Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.” (John 13:36)
  • He, (Jesus) then decided to comfort them, He told them, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God;believe also in me.” (John 14:1)
  • He also promised them that He is going to prepare a place for them and He will come back for them, since He is the way to the Father.
  • The disciples were still worried, one of them told Jesus, “ Lord show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” (John 14:8)
  • Jesus explained to them that He and the father are one and whoever has seen Jesus has seen the Father. (John 14:9) He went on, promising a gift that He would send them, once He left.
  • He would not leave them as orphans, but would leave them with the Holy Spirit, who would be their advocate and help.
  • He is the Spirit of Truth, the world cannot accept Him because they do not know Him, but the disciples know Him for He is always with them and will be in them. (John 14:16-17)
  1. If the Holy Spirit lives in us what kind of home would He want? (Dirty/Clean)
