David was a shepherd boy, who trusted in God and he had audacious faith. God made him King and he served the Lord as King. We too will receive our crowns of righteousness when Christ will come back. We should trust that He is risen and He will come back to glorify us.
Go through the months memory verses:
1. Hebrews 11:6 NIV
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him
2. Hebrews 11:1 NIV
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
3. 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.”
4. Memory Verse: – 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.” (This is a repeat from last Sunday intentionally)
